FS: My House!

I'm putting my house back on the market. It's 1262sq.ft. in Raleigh, near Walnut Creek. Single Family Detached. 3 Bed, 2 Bath. Built in 2006, I purchased it new from the builder. I built a 300sq.ft. patio out back, and wired the house for surround sound, kitchen speakers, and structured network and cable. Officially goes on the market Monday, I'll have some pictures soon.

On the serious though, great price. I'm planning to move back to NC soon but not this soon. I'm wrapped in my townhouse for 3 years thanks to the new homeowner tax credit.

haha, they extended the tax credit that was supposed to expire in april, hoping more people will take advantage of it. unfortunately I don't qualify for any of the programs out there for home buyers.

what is if friday the first time home buyers credit runs out. then you have to close by July?

Oh and if you could hook me up with a web design job and my fiance up with a art teaching job... I'd be all over that.

Based on the irs.gov site it looks like you have to enter into a contract by saturday, and close by july, to qualify for this $8000 tax credit. After it runs out, they will probably end up starting another round of credits, but probably not as good. The benefit for this one is you can claim it on your 2009 tax return, and get the tax money back right away(ish).
Unfortunately I don't have any leads on design work, or teaching, i know a councilor at an elementary school, but she just started and has no pull for hiring.... I know Raleigh's job market is strong, jump on it!

we are looking for work everywhere, so it is a possibility. plus chapel hill isn't to far and they pay teachers gooood.

My wife drives to North Durham everyday, it takes about 35-40 minutes, would probably be the same to chapel hill. Because the house is right off 40, it's quick to get east also, it takes the same amount of time to get to Smithfield. Let me know if you want to take a look at it, and give it some serious consideration.

wake county is having a hiring freeze for this coming school year booo. but we did find a nice private school that is taking applications. and I found a graphic/web design place that seems right up my ally. If they pay good enough, we could be in some busyness! but don't get your hopes up.
